Four match ban “for having made an offensive expression towards the Terna Referees”: this is what we read in the Sports Judge’s report after the last round of the Serie D championship (CLICK HERE for the full version). The heavy disqualification refers to Pro Sesto midfielder Alessandro Sala, who however is not there, and through the club has made it known that he has presented a complaint to the Federal Prosecutor’s Office, given that he would be the injured party; not only that, the company has appealed against the disqualification.
Here is the note where everything is explained in detail:
“Pro Sesto notes with concern and disbelief the four-match ban imposed on its member Alessandro Sala, following the expulsion he suffered on Sunday during the match against Club Milano, when he was on the bench after a substitution in the second half .
With reference to Sunday’s episode, a complaint was presented on Monday to the Federal Prosecutor’s Office signed by the person concerned.
The Company also announces an immediate appeal against the disqualification received yesterday, which it does not hesitate to define as incomprehensible and surreal, as the player would in reality have been the victim of gratuitous and disrespectful remarks by the match director (Mr. Gabriele Caggiari of the Cagliari), on which Pro Sesto demands the necessary investigations and maximum clarity.
Pro Sesto, in expressing closeness to its member, hopes that the ongoing investigations of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office will bring justice and that an affair like the one suffered by Sala will not be repeated on a playing field.”
