Mantua, Possanzini: “Modena is a strong team, set up for another type of tournament”

Anti-eve of the race for the Mantua, which will receive the visit of Modena on Saturday on the occasion of the 15th day of the Serie B championship. The match, which will be played at the ‘Martelli’ at 5.15 pm, was spoken by the Lombard coach Davide Possanzini: “Although there were other objectives at the start of the championship, in my opinion Modena is a team created to play another type of tournament, full of quality players – we read on mantovauno.it -. It will be a derby, I expect an intense, motivating match: we will get there well, despite the 2-2 draw with Catanzaro we are very confident. We always went very aggressive, concentrated, the boys interpreted the game well. The fact that we took the lead straight away allowed us to approach the match in a different way.”

The coach then continues: “We will have to take care of every little detail. We are trying to do it like every week, giving as much information as possible to the players about the opponents: given how they are training, I am confident about the impact they will have on the match. Then there’s always a question mark: you always carry your doubts until the match.”

He then concludes: “Football clichés say that we lack wickedness, but to do that that isn’t enough, you need technical skills, quality, otherwise everyone would do it. It’s the thing that makes you win, but the most difficult: it’s obvious that you work on it from a technical point of view, but it’s also a mental question.”
