Italian Cup Serie C, Round of 16 – AC Milan Futuro smiles, Padova instead collapses

Back on the field again Serie C, with the Round of 16 of the Italian Cupwhich started yesterday afternoon, and will end this evening, with the complete picture of the qualifiers for the next round. Round, that of the Quarter Finals, which, exactly like the Round of 16, will take place in a single direct elimination match. As per the regulations, “the clubs that have scored the highest number of goals will qualify for the next round. In the event of a tie in the number of goals scored at the end of the match, two extra periods lasting 15 minutes each will be played. even at the end of the two extra periods, the referee will proceed to have the penalty kicks taken, in the manner provided for by the “Football Regulations”.

But in the meantime let’s go and see what today’s afternoon was like, with the 6pm matches behind us: Giana Erminio, Caldiero Terme and Milan Futuro are the ones to qualify for the next round, with the Rossoneri beating Torres. Giana, on the other hand, complicates – and not a little – the path of Pro Vercelli, while Caldiero Terme writes a piece of history because in the season they are the first team to conquer the “Euganeo” and beat Padova.
