Vincenzo ItalianoBologna coach, spoke to the microphones of Sky Sports before the Champions League match against Lille: “The objective is to try to be really super concentrated from midfield up, once we get to the wings we have to fill the penalty area well. Dallinga is improving greatly, I hope that tonight confirm himself. Ndoye is returning. Ferguson has more dynamism, he’s fine and it’s right to throw him in to improve his condition.”
Were the training choices made taking into account the energy spent in these races?
“We squeezed Odgaard, Castro ran for three against Lazio: with so many close matches we have to put in maximum energy and then try to change the game with the contribution of those who come from the bench.
What did you say to the team?
“We talked about the fact that we had many situations to score goals, we lacked a bit of determination and precision. I really liked what we did against Aston Villa and today we have to do it again by trying to be more effective up front, because we need goals and points.”
