(ANSA) – ROME, NOV 27 – Alfredo Trentalange has deposited the proxies in support of his candidacy for the presidency of the Italian Referee Association (Aia). The choice of Trentalange and his team, according to a note, was “to present only the number necessary to leave everyone the possibility of a democratic discussion. Not delegations collected to prevent the other from participating but received from men and women convinced by the program, which is illustrated in the tour that Trentalange and the candidates for the National Council are undertaking, covering the peninsula, and which has been sent to all those with the right to vote”.
The cornerstone of the project, as underlined in the note, is the autonomy of the Hague, “an autonomy that has been planned, studied and analyzed for a long time and which has seen the endorsement of the Harpalis study. Autonomy, and the possibility of managing the funds, while remaining within the FIGC, which would be added to those of the Federation and Sport and Health”. “Our project is ambitious, because we know the potential of our Association – states the candidate -.
The Hague must become one of the protagonists of the world of football. This is what the base also asks of us. Knowing that what we thought and created with Studio Harpalis is welcomed with enthusiasm repays us for the many difficult moments we have experienced. We have had tangible, real expressions of interest that would allow us to obtain 20 million euros a year. No entrepreneur – concludes Trentalange – would invest his own money if he did not believe in the validity of a project”. (ANSA).
