Bendtner attacked by a man armed with a knife in New York: a friend of the former Juve player injured

Bad misadventure for Nicklas Bendtner. The former footballer, who retired in 2021 after 14 years as a professional in which he also wore the shirts of Juventus and Arsenal, was attacked together with some of his friends in New York. Joshua Zinberg, 25, attacked the group with a knife, injuring one of the people who were with the 36-year-old Dane (another former player). The man was arrested and charged with attempted murder.

Surveillance camera footage shows the passage of Bendtner and his group; a few seconds later, a man armed with a knife appears behind them. Bendtner revealed that the injured man was rushed to hospital: 55 years old, he suffered injuries to his face and ears.
