Salvatore Bagniformer Inter and Napoli footballer, gave a long interview to The Morningspeaking of Serie A: “Inter started as favourites, then there could have been Napoli and Juventus but instead here are Fiorentina and Lazio who are expressing themselves well and have coaches who make their teams play well. Both had already done an excellent job in Monza and Verona: two technicians who tend to play and consider all the elements
of the rose on the same level. In short, they believe in what they say.”
Count, Palladino and Barons. Did you expect them like this right from the start?
“They had to make themselves known and they did it well. We are talking about coaches who have had an impact by changing the face and identity of their teams. They are playing well and achieving results. The most difficult task, however, was that of Conte in a place depressed by the disappointment after the Scudetto. For Antonio was an almost impossible mission at the beginning and instead he is doing very well. And then we must not forget Gaperini.”
Can Atalanta win the Scudetto?
“The Goddess scares me: I sent a message to my friend Gasperini after the 0-3 against Maradona, telling him that he had ‘given me’ a bad Sunday. Gasp is an extraordinary coach. Atalanta plays the best football in the league A, a wonder to see. The team that makes us have the most fun. If they believe it
they can be the real surprise until the end of the season, even if they too have the Champions League and certainly don’t have the squad of Juve or Inter or Napoli.”
