Pitch invasion at the end of Como-Fiorentina: DASPO to a German citizen

The State Police, on the occasion of the football match “COMO 1907 A- ACF FIORENTINA” valid for the 2024/2025 Serie “A” football championship, held yesterday afternoon, Sunday 24 November, at the city stadium “G. Sinigaglia”, issued a DASPO against a German citizen. At the end of the match, the man climbed over the fence that separates the playing field, invading it.

The perpetrator of the gesture was immediately blocked and fully identified thanks to the immediate investigations carried out by the DIGOS staff of the Como Police Headquarters, assisted by the steward staff who promptly intercepted the “intruder”, who turned out to be a 24-year-old German citizen who had followed the football match in the distinct sector with regular service.

The young man was immediately the recipient of the provision prohibiting access to places where sporting events take place – DASPO – issued by the Como Police Commissioner Marco Calì, following an urgent investigation by specialists from the Anti-Crime Division, which will prevent him from following one for years, at the city ​​stadium for the Como team, to the sports center where they train, and extended for the same period of time, to matches played in other facilities, as well as to places involved in the same events.

The football match and the subsequent outflow of fans, from the point of view of public order and safety, however, took place without any critical issues.
