Lazio, Baroni: “Proud of our identity. Goals from substitutions? I have 22 starters”

How Lazio flies: another three points against Bologna which fuel the dream that cannot be said, but which today remains just one step away. At the end of the match the Biancoceleste coach Marco Baroni spoke to the microphones of Dazn.

An aspect that makes you most proud?
“Many things. I like the team because the desire to play and play attacking football shines through, it does so with courage and personality. Then we are happy with the results and for the club and the fans, but mainly I want this team to create a strong identity always playing with this attitude.”

Lazzari was reluctant to play full-back as a fourth, how did you manage to stimulate him?
“He must remain calm, he has a lot of energy and speed, I tell him to go fast, to attack him, he is doing it very well. Marusic is giving us a lot, he is a little different, we have this support on the outside. I congratulate him also to Pellegrini, given that Tavares was missing. We started immediately with a great personality, directing her from a mental point of view.”

Do you have a special relationship with boys? They all score from the bench.
“I come from championships where I have always needed everyone, this aspect of using everyone is important, I know well that when I change someone I give opportunities and the team appreciated this. It would be nice to always think of having 22 starters, to be all ‘height of each match’:

The atmosphere at the Olimpico?
“I am more and more surprised. I was talking about the emotions that the team must convey to the stands, people feel it”:
