Pietro Pellegri he has already scored 2 goals in this Serie A championship and aspires to continue on this path. In an interview given to The Republicthe center forward ofEmpoli he spoke like this about his period: “I have confidence. I have a great relationship with D’Aversa. Did you expect this departure?
“Nobody expected it. The road is long but the results that are coming belong to everyone. Ours is a competitive, healthy locker room.”
But why does he celebrate like Sporting CP’s Gyökeres?
“It drives me crazy how he plays, but the story is different: Gyasi had sent me a photo of himself imitating Gyökeres during the week. It made me smile and we said to each other: the first one to score, rejoices like this.”
What is your ideal tip?
“Retegui, Kean. Two who are doing very well. They keep the ball, do the dirty work, fight, provide depth and then are cynical in front of goal.”
During his career Pellegri played 55 games with Torino, 23 with Monaco, 10 with Genoa, 9 with Empoli, 6 with Milan and one with Monaco B, scoring 13 goals in total. The 2001 born player also made his senior national team debut with Roberto Mancini in a friendly match won 4-0 against Estonia.
