Conte: “Ngonge is growing, Rrahmani is a robot, Neres invents situations out of nothing”

Speaking at a press conference two days before the match against Roma, mister Antonio Conte he also focused on the moment of some singles. These are the statements from the Napoli coach ahead of the 13th round of the top Italian championship:

Can Neres be useful to an attack that has scored a few fewer goals so far? Could Lukaku also need more crosses?
“David is doing well, he is committed, he works, he is an important resource, he has been and is in the present. He is a player who we also try to create situations for him to further enhance his characteristics, but I am happy with what he’s giving us, he’s always played even if in bursts, except at San Siro where there were contingent situations and I saw something else. But he’s a player who can create situations for you out of nothing and what’s more he’s very positive, I’m very happy with him.” .

Ngonge seemed to be growing, how did you see him? Can it have more space?
“The players know that the last thing I do is look at the face when I choose. It’s up to them to show me during the week and in the match, from the start or in the moments, that they put me in difficulty. He certainly like others compared to the summer he has grown, he is growing, welcome because we need healthy competition and so the level of attention, intensity, everything already in training is raised because behind it there is someone pushing to play in place of someone else.”

You have coached great defenders, where do you place Rrahmani and above all Buongiorno?
“Above all, Alessandro, considering his age, has wide margins and is improving in many aspects, he is thoughtful, receptive, when you show him something he absorbs immediately, next to him he is lucky enough to have someone like Amir who is a soldier, a robot, he is calibrated, he is a computer, he surprised me because he is a hard worker. You have to tell him things, but he stores them and does them immediately, but I also have Rafa Marin behind him who is working hard and so is he grown up, we have Jesus who is a veteran and can give us a hand if necessary, but as I always say, defenders are good if the entire defensive phase is done together.”
