The English openings – Guardiola says yes to City again. And without a termination clause

On the English front pages today, Thursday 21 November 2024, the focus is on the extension of Pep Guardiola’s contract with Manchester City until 2026, with an option until 2027. And, according to sources close to the Catalan coach, there are no clauses releases in case of demotion or mega-fine for the company for the famous 115 charges.

The agreement was reached in recent days after a blitz by Guardiola himself in Abu Dhabi, where he met Khaldoon Al Mubarak, president of Manchester City, CEO of the Mubadala mega-fund and plenipotentiary of the property
