Stefano Trinchera, sporting director of Lecceduring the interview with Telerama he also focused on the present of his team, which is preparing to face the first match with the new coach, Marco Giampaolo who took over from the sacked Gotti at the start of the international break which recently ended.
A few words for example on the Venice matchwhich will mark the resumption of games for Lecce but also the first official match with Giampaolo on the bench: “I expect a balanced challenge and a highly motivated Lecce, with the desire on the part of the boys to show their coach that they want to get away from this situation of poor ranking. Obviously, it won’t be easy to overturn what has been done in recent months but I am confident in the team and its potential.”

As for example on the idea of replacing the injured Banda with Helgason in the Serie A list: “We will have a technical meeting considering the fact that the regulation allows us to replace an injured player.
