Future as a coach for Parolo? “I’ll soon be 40 and can start a new life”

In a long interview granted to Radio Serie Athe former Lazio, Parma and Cesena midfielder Marco Parolo he spoke about his future like this: “I stopped playing and I took some time to evaluate and better understand the role of the coach. The more time passes, the more technical it seems to me. I’ll soon be 40 and can start a career new life. Towards the end of my career I understood my coaches better. Especially in the last year, the last match. Empty stadium, Covid period, I knew I wouldn’t renew with Lazio a dream was created for me. Dreams are not they say but it’s not very far from that bench (laughs ed.)”.

PROPOSALS
“I received two offers to join important technical staff. I didn’t feel like it. I believe I am a decision-making coach and therefore first-rate. I preferred to say no, say thank you and continue my path of study and preparation”.

THE GUIDES
“I took a lot from all the coaches I had. The love for football, the one that encourages you to give everything from Antonio Conte. Knowing him before would have even made me take a further step in my career. Pioli already had the idea of a mobile football. Once he had in mind to move Dusan from full-back to midfield. You didn’t move Dusan from there but we later saw that idea developed by Guardiola with Walker. I assimilated the ability Of management of the group. There is also Prandelli, a man of absolute caliber.”
