Tommaso Martinelli has recently renewed the contract that binds him to Fiorentinabinding himself with the club in which he grew up in the youth sector, until his debut in the first team as a professional, until 30 June 2029.
Interviewed by the official channels of the Giglia club, the goalkeeper born in 2006 also spoke about the special relationship that binds him to the current number one of Fiorentina, a sort of goal institution such as David de Gea: “They call me ‘penalty referee’ and ask me for a lot of advice before matches. That a champion like David comes to me asking for opinions on shooters is wonderful. I never thought I’d get to this point. David is truly an excellent person: the people you see him on the pitch, but what he does off the pitch is especially top” (read here the integral).
Fiorentina communicated the renewal until 2029 with Martinelli through the following note: “Fiorentina announces that it has renewed the contract that tied the player Tommaso Martinelli to the Viola Club until 30 June 2029. Martinelli, who grew up in the Gigliato youth sector, made his Serie A debut last 2 June in the match against Atalanta”.
