The minister: ‘There is a permanent table. definitely one in the south’
(ANSA) – TURIN, NOV 21 – For the 2032 European Championships “the working table is permanent, it never closes. We are working on 9 further options”. This was stated by the Minister of Sport, Andrea Abodi, on the sidelines of his participation in the national assembly of the ANCI in Turin. “Rome and Milan need to prepare themselves in the best possible way, because the stadiums tend to be there, except for the design diversity which, however, must lead to something – specifies Abodi -. But there are other cities for two places because UEFA has informed us that the stadiums to date, there will be 5, and Turin, Milan and Rome already have their own stability”.
The competition for the other places “is quite marked – observes the minister -, knowing that we must also try to distribute the presence across the territory. And therefore certainly at least one in the south. Naples must compete – he concludes answering a question about the Neapolitan city -, the competition is on things done well and the time it takes and time is short.” (HANDLE).
