There Florentine has defined and made official in the last few hours the contract renewal until 2029 with Tommaso Martinelli, a young goalkeeper currently third in the hierarchy of the Gigliati posts. The indisputable owner is De Gea, who has been his deputy until today Pietro Terracciano. Will anything change for the latter?
The goalkeeper born in 1990 has also reiterated in recent weeks that he feels fully involved and believes without reservations in Fiorentina’s 2024/2025 project, as well as being aware of being part of it without too many discussions. And he has no doubts about what awaits him: staying to play for Fiorentina. Despite the competition from a sacred monster like De Gea and the esteem shown by the club for the young rampant Martinelli, Terracciano feels an integral part of the technical plans and does not want to move at least until June.
It should be remembered that in August Terracciano had already reached a general agreement with Adriano Galliani’s Monzaexcept that during a conversation with the Viola management he was convinced that he wanted to try to overthrow someone like De Gea, and that even if he didn’t succeed he would have his space in the cup. This season the class of ’90 has played 6 matches, perfectly divided between the 3 in Serie A and the 3 in the Conference League (all in the group).
