Juventus Women, Canzi: “Against Arsenal to show that we are not the same as the first leg”

On the eve of the match in London againstArsenal, valid for the fourth day of the Group Phase of the UEFA Women’s Champions League, Juventus Women coach Massimiliano Canzi presented the match against the English team from the ‘Emirates Stadium’. These are his words, taken from the official channels of the Turin club: “We are eager to play this match, it has a series of meanings for us. Not the least of which is that of wanting to demonstrate that we are not the team from the first leg match. We lived this eve aware of the importance of the challenge and of our qualities, we know how we can hurt our opponents.”

He then continues: “Compared to last week’s match we will have to be more concrete in the opportunities that arise. We will have to be good at staying in the game for longer despite Arsenal’s strength. Obviously we spoke to each other after the match played at home and we could certainly do better. One of the few advantages of when things don’t go right is that errors are more easily identified and consequently where it is necessary to intervene.”

He concludes: “In terms of playing philosophy, I expect a match similar to the first leg. They have a very specific identity and will try to highlight their strengths. We must have great balance and pay close attention to the defensive phase to then exploit our open field skills”.
