Juventus is in good hands: Di Gregorio closes the door and dreams of the national team

Good first experience in a big club Michele Di Gregorio. After having played through the youth team at Inter and after having worked his way up in the lower leagues, definitively exploding in B and A with Monza, the Milanese goalkeeper seized the opportunity by imposing himself with the Juventus shirt. A start to the season with a bang with six clean sheets out of nine games played in the league, helping to make Thiago Motta’s defense among the least perforated in the top 5 European leagues.

Dreaming of the national team
And obviously now the number one dream is to win the blue shirt. “Certainly little by little the dreams get a little bigger – said the Juventus number 29 at an event last night -. The national team is, being part of a group that represents your country is a source of pride, that is the goal, I work towards that and we’ll see if I succeed.”

The statistics
In the first eight days of the championship (on the fourth in Empoli and on the sixth in Genoa against Genoa Perin played) he conceded only one goal, then only two slips against Inter and Parma where he conceded four and two goals respectively and then one more match unbeaten against Udinese. In the Champions League, however, he made three appearances, scoring four goals.
