The flag of Nicolas ‘Chicco’ Hofler will continue to fly in Freiburg. The club has in fact announced that it has reached an agreement until 2027 with the player who arrived at the age of 15 in the club’s youth team and who since then, except for a couple of loan spells at Erzgebirge Aue, has always worn the shirt Rossoneri with whom he made 351 appearances in total, of which 267 in the Bundesliga, which puts him in third place in the ranking of the most presenters of all time in the club’s history.
“Freiburg has been more than just a sporting home for almost 20 years, however I prefer to look forward than simply reflect on the past. – Hofler explained to the club’s channels – I still want to accomplish many things with these guys and achieve the goals we have set ourselves. I’m really happy to have extended my contract, I will continue to give my best.”
