Marcel Desailly was recognized as the biological father of a 10-year-old girl. As reported by Le Parisienthe 1998 world champion had to undergo a paternity test ordered by the courts last March. The result leaves no room for doubt: “The probability of paternity is greater than 99.99999%”.
Victoria – this is the name of the little girl – was born from the relationship that the former Milan midfielder had with Cosma, a Brazilian woman with whom he worked for several years; Desailly and Cosma enjoyed a long-lasting love story and lived together when the former player was still married to his first wife and mother of his four children.
Victoria was born in March 2014, at a time when Desailly was not in France. When he returned, he had not recognized the little girl: “We lived together for years, in the same apartment. In private, Marcel had never denied his paternity”, Cosma confided to the newspaper. According to several testimonies, the little girl called Marcel Desailly “daddy”. As for the official recognition of paternity, the hearing will take place on December 10: the woman’s requests are 5,000 euros per month for alimony and the surname Desailly for the little girl.
In 2014 Desailly refused to submit to a paternity test ordered by the Toulon court: it was established that he was the father of Aïda, now 23 years old and born out of wedlock.
