Matteo Lovisasporting director of Juve Stabia, spoke with the reporters present on the sidelines of the Grand Gala of Italian football. These are his words collected by TMW:
“We know that the championship is very balanced. We can lose and win against anyone, but this is the beauty of Serie B. We must be good at always maintaining balance, knowing that our objective remains salvation. The important thing is to reach the as soon as possible the points necessary to save us; how we do them doesn’t matter.”
In a month there will be the derby with Salernitana.
“It will certainly be a beautiful match. It’s always exciting to experience these derbies. It’s a match worth three points, but on an emotional level it can give a lot to both teams.”
How is the level of Serie B this year?
“It’s the usual Serie B: physicality and great competitiveness. For now it’s very balanced. We’ll see how the championship goes, because the big teams are struggling: Palermo, Cremonese and Sampdoria are having difficulties.”
Is Spezia a surprise?
“This year it has never lost in the first thirteen games. It is a team with important values and built well. It deserves to be so high and is one of the candidates for the final victory.”
Pisa and Sassuolo?
“We will have clearer ideas towards February. Now the top three have a good advantage, but in my opinion Cremonese and Palermo will be able to get back into the running for promotion to Serie A.”
