35 years after the death of Denis Bergaminia midfielder then in the ranks of Cosenzafor which the ex-girlfriend was convicted last October 1st Isabella Internò to 16 years of imprisonment, through the columns of Il Resto del Carlino the sister spoke, Donata Bergamini:
“Thirty-five years that could have been avoided if someone had done their duty – he explains – and this, I assure you, really hurts a lot and will leave indelible marks on a family made up of several generations. Obviously the great joy is that of having allowed my brother to start flying because they had covered him in all the imaginary mud.
“The arrest of a person does not bring me happiness, there is a lot of anger, and undoubtedly the lady cannot go unpunished, just as others cannot go unpunished. The happiness is that what we said was true, Denis was killed.”
