Updates are coming from FootballCatanzaro regarding the topic of the restyling of the ‘Ceravolo’ stadium, home of the Southern Eagles.
Confindustria Catanzaro, accepting the request of the mayor Nicola Fiorita and of Us Catanzaro 1929, has financed, in recent months, an important pre-feasibility study aimed at estimating the potential refunctionalisation, restyling and adaptation interventions of the “Ceravolo” stadium and the urban area adjacent to it, as well as the related implementation costs.
The study, started in June, will be officially presented to the city in the last week of November with the participation of Massimo Rojarchitect and founder of Gruppo Progetto CMR International which, through its subsidiary “Sportium”, carried out the important work.
“The Municipality asked us for a hand in this important initiative, both to speed up the process of the subsequent intervention and to fully finance a crucial work for the planning of the overall interventions on the “Ceravolo” – he explained Aldo Ferrarapresident of Confindustria Catanzaro -. It is, in fact, a study with which a more overall and prospective vision of the plant and the area that hosts it is built, useful for orienting future executive planning and understanding in advance the economic and technical feasibility of the hypothesized solutions. At the center there is the desire to make the “Ceravolo” a modern, sustainable and welcoming stadium, also intervening to improve the urban traffic of the area”.
