Serbia, Vlahovic lets off steam: “The coach didn’t force me to do a lot of defensive tasks”

A success would certainly have been more convenient, but in the meantime the 1-1 draw was achieved Swiss in a very heated match he allowed the Serbia to move within two points of Denmark in the League A, group 4 standings. Everything is still open, with the last match scheduled in two days against Eriksen and Hoijlund’s gang, for a great direct clash.

Interviewed by CSR in yesterday’s post-match, the Serbian center forward of Juventus Dusan Vlahovic he commented on the outcome of the match: “Yes, it was a beautiful match, a match between good teams who played well. We and they too had many opportunities, the match could have gone one way or the other. We are happy that we showed the reaction after the goal conceded and that we continued to play our football until the end. We are certainly not 100% satisfied because we wanted the victory, but even this result… come on, let’s say we’re fine with it. We have to continue like this because in three (two, ed) days we have a match against a tough opponent and we hope to get a positive result for us.”

How much it changes playing with an attacking partner: “Yes, it also depends on the coach. But it’s certainly a little easier because Mitrovic is a strong player who plays a lot on the banks and in aerial duels and I can take advantage of my qualities, also because the coach (Stojković, ed.) doesn’t it forced me to do a lot of defensive tasks. And for a player like me, from my structure… I honestly can’t run that much. Because then I’m not fresh in finishing a bit of bad luck, but as I said we got a positive result and we’re moving forward.”
