Fiorentina, Palladino: “There is a fantastic group. I feel like an older brother to Kean”

Interviewed by today’s edition of The Republicthe coach of Fiorentina Raffaele Palladino commented on the moment of his team, second in the standings: “I like the conviction of my boys, they are ambitious. Some come from big clubs, they bring this mentality and this thing makes me crazy with joy. But you have to look at reality: it’s not it’s easy to stay up there, there are equipped clubs that have spent a lot. It depends a lot on us: now they will all face us to beat us, we are at the top and we are annoying.

Many players of value in the purple squad but above all of character: “De Gea, Gosens, Kean. Together with Bove, Cataldi and Adli – he listed – they brought the mentality that Fiorentina needed. A fantastic group that is all on the same side. I have to thank President Commisso, the CEO of Ferrari together with Pradè and Goretti who gave me this squad.”

The discussion then focuses on Moise Kean, a player who wanted the same coach: “Yes and the club immediately supported me. I feel like an older brother to Moise. He is the first one I called to Florence. He hadn’t come for important years, but we believed in the boy and the player. He can have a great championship but he must always be physically well.”
