Barcelona lands on Kvaratskhelia. Napoli has presented two offers for the renewal

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is returned to the center of attention of major European clubs after the summer, with PSG showing interest and now Barcelona have also come forward. However, the question of price has never changed: Napoli will determine the conditions of sale, if an offer ever arrives. Meanwhile, the Neapolitan club has already presented the player with two renewal offers, the first in July and the second more recent.

The new contract proposed to the Georgian includes an expiration in 2029 and a significant salary increase, going from the current 1.8 million to around 5 million, with the inclusion of bonuses that would make him the highest paid player in the squad. However, the negotiations have stalled on some points, in particular on the release clause: Kvaratskhelia asks for 80 million, while Napoli is only willing to accept it for around 120 million. Furthermore, the agent requested a substantial increase starting from the third year of the contract, between 8 and 9 million, as well as high commissions.

Despite the divergences, the situation is clear, but the outlook remains uncertain. As highlighted by Corriere dello Sport, the priority now for Napoli is to focus on the pitch, with the club awaiting a quick response from Kvara’s side, which could influence the player’s future.
