The former Juve Padovano: “Conte is right, without uniformity in the VAR bad thoughts come”

At “1 Football Club”, a radio program broadcast on 1 Station Radiohe intervened Michele PadovanoSky commentator, manager and former player of Napoli and Juventus. Below is an excerpt from the interview.

Regarding the use of VAR, do you agree with Conte’s words?
“I agree with Conte. We need uniformity, or we always or never go and see. Otherwise bad thoughts can come, as Conte said. I also heard Rocchi’s words and I didn’t understand much. The answers must be clear. There is a lot of confusion on their part too.”

What do you think of Marotta, according to whom Conte said those phrases to achieve an objective?
“I don’t go into the merits of Marotta’s statements. I know Conte well and I would also take it as a compliment, because communication in the world of football is very important. He knows very well that when he wants to achieve something he has to start in a certain way, but attacking him by saying that Conte spoke to achieve an objective seems excessive to me.”

A comment on the Juve project? Could it be a claim to the title?
“I really like the Juve project. They took a big risk with this revolution and sending away important players, like Chiesa or Rabiot. Still in my opinion we need to see the real Koop and Douglas Luiz. I would wait before giving any evaluations on Douglas Luiz. I remember that Zidane also took 6 months to get into shape. So in my opinion Juve can be a contender for the title.”
