Paul Pogba is no longer a Juventus member. Consensual resolution communicated

Official

The streets of Paul Pogba and Juventus officially separate. The long-awaited statement from the Juventus club has just arrived, announcing the consensual termination of the agreement that linked it to the French midfielder.

The official press release from Juventus
“Juventus Football Club and Paul Pogba announce that they have mutually agreed on the termination of the sporting performance contract, starting from 30 November 2024. The club would like to wish Paul the best for his professional future.”

Appeal not heard
Paul Pogba, we remember, was qualified for 4 years on 11 September 2023 due to an anti-doping test on 20 August 2023, on the sidelines of Juventus’ match away to Udinese. In recent months, however, the CAS of Lausanne had reduced his disqualification to a year and a half, with the player who will therefore be able to return to the field in March 2025. His hope, confessed a few weeks ago, was clear: “I am ready to giving up money to play for Juventus again.” An appeal which evidently did not bring results, as the director Cristiano Giuntoli had already implied last 19 October: “Our position is very clear, Paul was a great footballer, now he has been out of action for a long time, last year and This year too we were forced to make investments in other players and at the moment the squad is full.”
