Jofre Carreras has reached an agreement to extend his contract with Espanyol until 30 June 2029. Jofre, who is proving to be one of the most important players of the blue and white team this season, will continue to be linked to the club where he grew up and which he left only for a short loan at Mirandes.
The 23-year-old attacking winger has participated in 12 games this season in which he scored two goals. The player originally from Girona made his debut on 31 December 2021 in the First Division and is one of the team’s flags, one of the leaders. “With this renewal, RCD Espanyol ensures the continuity of a player who, as he recently recognized, has great room for improvement.”
