Through his social channels, the head of the national delegation Gianluigi Buffon commented on last night’s victory against Belgium, a 0-1 result in Brussels with a goal from Sandro Tonali which allowed the Azzurri to reach the quarter-finals of the Nations League with a round to spare: “Proud of a young and hungry national team that flies to the quarter-finals Nations League with a display of great maturity. One point was enough against Belgium, they got three!”
