Breda and the relegation of Ternana: “Great regret, only one point was enough”

TMW Radio

During the long interview granted to TMW Radio during the transmission To All C the former Ternana coach talks about his regret for the relegation with Fere last season:

“There is a lot of regret because one point was really enough. There is a lot of satisfaction, however, for the boys’ journey. If I’m not mistaken we set the record for the use of young people on the pitch. We could really have been a model and for this reason I regret it even more. Having so many young people brings you an enthusiasm and a cheekiness which in some cases helps.”

In your opinion, is there much difference between B and C?
“If you look at the average of the players on the pitch there is an abyss. If you look at the teams that manage to win, however, it is not so marked. This issue is accentuated, then, when it comes to teams with strong identities.”

What are your thoughts on Di Carmine at Trento?
“I also saw him live and I really liked it. He has a desire to rock the world which is truly beautiful. He is a boy who must be put in the right conditions both mentally and physically. Trento plays well and he is giving them a great hand.”
