The Juventus defender Juan Cabal he arrived at J Medical in these minutes to take the instrumental tests and understand the extent of his knee injury. Having arrived at the clinic on crutches and with an eloquent brace, in the next few hours some light will be shed on his condition and any recovery times that could even end in next season:

The player, we remember, was injured during the first training session with his Colombia, the national team in retreat in Argentina in preparation for the next South American commitments. Already from the federation’s press release it was clear that the injury could be serious, with a cruciate ligament injury which, pending investigations, seems to be the most probable diagnosis:

“The technical staff of the senior national team of Colombia informs that the footballer Juan David Cabal, of Juventus (ITA), will not be able to continue his retirement in view of the matches against Uruguay and Ecuador, valid for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. This is because, during yesterday’s training, he suffered a knee injury which prevents him from being eligible to face the aforementioned commitments. The coach, his technical staff and the group of players wish Juan David a speedy recovery and his return to sporting activity.”
