During his press conference with Italy Under 21, the Fiorentina full-back Michael Kayode he also spoke about the excellent start to the season of Raffaele Palladino’s team and some of his teammates:

Is there a player watching right now?
“I don’t know, but if I really had to take examples I would mention Dodo, a fantastic teammate from whom I can draw great information. Then in the senior national team I see Di Lorenzo or Cambiaso, who are people I can get something from.”

Are you a bit disappointed by this start to the season with Fiorentina?
“Absolutely no disappointment. The coach takes me into consideration and when there is space, like in the cup, he lets me play. He also puts me as a high winger, so I can’t talk about disappointment. Then as always, there are things that could be do better. But the relationship with the coach and the team continues very well.”

What do you think of Comuzzo in the senior national team?
“I am very happy with Pietro. He has always applied himself, even if last year he had little space. But he has never given up an inch and he deserves everything that is happening to him, because he is applied, serious, he is always taking care his physique in the gym. He deserves all this and I’m really happy for him.”

How is the ranking with Fiorentina? Does it give you shivers?
“Playing minutes both here and with the club is always an honor. Here in the Under 21s I can compete with both great teammates and great opponents, so I can always improve. Chills? Yes, absolutely. But I expected it, even if I didn’t we started off on the right foot, I knew we would work hard and we would get to this point.”
