Ruud van Nistelrooy he left Manchester United a few days ago, with the arrival of Ruben Amorim on the Red Devils’ bench. At the end of the conversation between the two, the former striker decided to step aside: he understood that he would not have an important role in the Portuguese’s staff. However, he should not remain unemployed for long; according to the English press, the Dutchman – Erik ten Hag’s former assistant – should soon be appointed new manager of Burnley, a team that was relegated from the Premier League last season (with Vincent Kompany at the helm) and today plays in the Championship, the second division.
