Real Madrid, in all likelihood, will have to resort to the transfer market to strengthen the squad after the many injuries – especially in defense – which have upset the balance of Carlo Ancelotti’s team. A site specialized in artificial intelligence decided to help the Spanish club by trying to identify the ideal profile to replace the 26-year-old Brazilian, victim of a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
According to the Olocip website algorithm, the best profile is that of Olivier Boscagli26 year old defender of PSV Eindhoven. The AI analyzed performance data for different players based on specific parameters about competitions, teams, coaches, position and age. The database then assigns a score from 0 to 100 and Boscagli even obtained 98, ahead of Aymeric Laporte (96).
In detail, Boscagli stands out for his contribution at a defensive level and in releasing the ball at his feet. With his performances he contributes to scoring or avoiding 0.33 goals per game (i.e. 1 goal every 272 minutes). A value similar to that of Militao before the injury. To conclude, AI mentions two other names who could be suitable for Real: Jonathan Tah (28 years old, Leverkusen) and Ryan Flamingo (21 years old), Boscagli’s teammate at PSV Eindhoven.
