Allegri at the ATP Finals: “Sinner’s strength is that he doesn’t realize he’s number 1”

Massimiliano Allegri was one of the names linked to the Roma bench in the last few hours, before the Giallorossi club decidedly tacked on the return of Claudio Ranieri. The former Juventus coach from Livorno, while waiting for a new football project, spends his time following his other favorite sports, namely horse racing and tennis.

In recent days Allegri himself was immortalized in Turin, at the ATP Finals, on the occasion of the victory of Jannik Sinner against Fritz. And to the microphones of Super Tennis TVawaiting the challenge of the number one in the ranking against Medvedev, the coach from Livorno responded to some questions about the tennis player: “I am very pleased to be here, a wonderful event and tennis at the moment thanks to Sinner and all the other players Italians are doing very well, we are very happy, especially the tennis fans.”

What quality strikes you most about Sinner?
“The fact that he’s still a boy who doesn’t realize he’s number one in the world, I think this is his true strength. I think he’s an extraordinary player, but I can’t say this because I don’t understand anything about it. Then as a boy he certainly has important values”.
