Rome, coach casting underway. But there is one fixed point: De Rossi will not return

The newspaper ‘Il Tempo’ on newsstands today takes stock of the Roma bench and explains that at the moment the casting of the Friedkins for the choice of the new coach is still up in the air. The owners of the Capitoline club are looking for a new coach through various channels and have not yet made a choice. However, there is one certainty – we read -, namely that Daniele De Rossi will not return: under contract until 30 June 2027, the former Giallorossi coach is not considered an option despite a dismissal after just four rounds of the championship which on balance turned out to be completely wrong.

Meanwhile yesterday Daniele De Rossi, included in the ‘Hall of Fame’ in Coverciano, expressed himself as follows about Roma: “Never again at Trigoria? I’ve never said this. Beyond the dynamics of both a player and a coach, dismissal is part of the job, I’m at home there, my father also works there. I spent more time at Trigoria is here at home. So just as I returned to Coverciano I will also return to Trigoria.”

Ivan Juric was exonerated on Sunday afternoon with this statement: “We want to thank Ivan Juric for his hard work over the last few weeks. He has handled a difficult environment with the utmost professionalism, and for this we are grateful. We wish him all the best for his future. The search for a new head of technical flight has already started and will be announced in the next few days”.
