Giampaolo’s career.
In his first experience in Serie A, salvation came in Cagliari, but Giampaolo was then sacked in the second year. Same thing in Siena, twelve wins and record points the first season, then sacked after ten games the following year. Then dismissals in Catania and Cesena, resignation in Brescia, then starting again from Serie C with Cremonese where he did well and earned a call from Empoli: tenth place and farewell to Tuscany, with then his first adventure at Sampdoria where for three years he very well, so much so that he earned the call from Milan: four defeats in seven days however cost him a new dismissal. Same story at Toro where it was taken over by Nicola. Finally, his second adventure at Sampdoria, where he managed to save himself as a substitute only to be sacked, as mentioned, after 8 days in the following season. Now the chance Lecce, where he can’t make mistakes.
