Amedeo Carboniformerly of Rome and Valencia among others, is one of the protagonists of the fifteenth edition of the national award “La Clessidra” currently being held in Anghiari. These are the marginal words collected exclusively by TMW: “The great balance at the top of the championship table? I wouldn’t even rule out Atalanta who this year seem to have a team that can win with everyone. It’s nice like this, we hope to reach the end of the season with four teams still competing they are still playing for the scudetto. Inter are still the strongest team, without a doubt, the championship is good, there is Napoli without cups, the one Conte wanted, who are certainly a candidate And then, as mentioned, there is Atalanta, who cannot be considered an outsider given what they are doing in Europe and in the league. It would be a good thing for football if Atalanta won the championship.”

After 12 days, can we say that Roma are the big disappointment? “Worriing rather than disappointing. It’s not so much for the team, but you see a void around it and this is disappointing. Above all also for the fans: in the end who do you get angry with? It’s unfortunate because you always expect something special from Roma, but there ‘It’s also time to recover, of course.”

Speaking of individuals, who among the left wingers do you like in the championship? “I have to say that the left wingers are almost all good. Even the slightly more “Brazilian” ones like Dimarco and Theo who are truly decisive from midfield up. I would say that the two of them are the emblem of left backs.”
