The coach is expected in England to immediately become familiar with his new club, also taking advantage of the international break to get to know all the people who work in the Carrington training centre.
However, he will not yet be able to “get to work” completely because he is waiting for his work visa. According to the English press, Amorim will meet immediately Ruud van Nistelrooya former player who took over the technical leadership of the team on an interim basis after the dismissal of Erik ten Hag. The Portuguese will be accompanied by his own technical staff, so it is not yet clear whether he intends to include the Dutchman in his working group.

There would be no presentation conference: Amorim’s debut in front of the English press should only take place in two weeks, on the eve of the match against Ipswich on 24 November.
