Juventus wins yet another derby and flies to second place. Torino no longer knows how to score

Another round, another derby won by Juventus. Yet another. Turin is still black and white thanks to goals from Weah in the first half and Yildiz (with a Del Piero-like celebration) in the second half. A success that comes after three games and which projects Juventus to second place in the standings, awaiting tomorrow’s big match between Inter and Napoli and the rest of the twelfth matchday of Serie A. The best on the pitch are the two scorers, obviously, but above all Cambiaso, author of a total performance.

Looking across the Po, there is Torino who no longer knows how to score. Zero goals in the last three games and only one shot on target, which was not exactly dangerous, in this match against Juventus. Sanabria is too isolated, Vlasic behind him is off and in fact the Granata never manage to undermine the goal defended by Perin.

At the end of the match Thiago Motta commented as follows: “In the Champions League we had a challenging match against a team that is doing very well. Today we approached the match in the right way. We immediately tried to control the game. Important victory for our fans and we are very happy. Now we can celebrate a great victory for Juventus.”

This is Paolo Vanoli’s comment: “We interpreted the match well from a tactical point of view. In the first half we lacked the fury to take the ball. Today we lacked offensive solutions. Without Adams we lost specific weight. In the last three we have scored 0 goals and we have to find solutions.”
