A fundamental success for Thiago Motta’s team, who broke a three-week fast in one of the most heartfelt matches of the year. Juventus starts with great intensity, also driven by the warm atmosphere of the Stadium, packed with Juventus fans. The turning point came in the 18th minute, when Weah beat Milinkovic-Savic for 1-0. Torino tried to react, but struggled to create clear chances against a well-organised Juventus defence.

In the second half, the Turin tries to change gear, but Juventus continues to manage the pace of the match well, relying on the physicality and ability to read the situations of Locatelli and Thuram. It is the young Kenan Yildiz who closes the score in the 84th minute, signing the final 2-0 in favor of the Bianconeri.
