At the press conference on the eve of the match against Bologna, the Roma coach Ivan Juric spoke about the situation of his team by announcing the absence of Paulo Dybala:
You were called into an emergency situation, sorry for the frankness and severity, but so far you still haven’t found the way out of it.
“He’s not severe if he says this. For me he’s not severe and I think that at times there’s some positivity but after a while it becomes something that I don’t like either. To this day I agree with you.”
How do you face a team like Bologna?
“Primo has a top level coach. He has a very aggressive and risky game. I like him a lot and they have always been good matches against Italiano. They accept 1 vs 1 situations and have a game that I really like.”
Do you have any idea which team will take the field for tomorrow? How are Dybala and Pellegrini?
“Dybala won’t be there because he felt uncomfortable. I still have to think about Pellegrini. Winning mentality and soul? What matters is that in certain moments we’re not attached to the result. Tactics are very important but if there’s no soul you can’t be competitive.”
