Lecce sporting director Stefano Trinchera gave an interview to ‘Sky’ a few minutes before the kick-off of the match against Empoli, a match valid for the twelfth matchday of Serie A: “Tonight we need to rediscover our identity, over the years we have achieved extraordinary results with our spirit and recently this spirit has been missing. The data is a bit disconcerting, the scoring phase is very precarious and we concede too many goals. At home we have never lacked so far in spirit, we start from a solid base with nine starters from last season and therefore the conditions are there, but we need to improve on obvious critical issues.”
Dorgu is a bit of a symbol of how you work
“There is a lot of work to get a player like that, we have a very broad vision. We are happy with him, he is an extraordinary player who improves day by day.”
What period does Krstovic live in?
“The team must be compact and move together in the two phases. He was also a starter last year, an absolute protagonist, but he must also be put in a position to express himself at his best.”
