Motta will have to give up Nico Gonzalez in his first Mole derby

Juventus returned to work at Continassa to prepare for the Mole derby against Torino, scheduled for Saturday, at 8.45pm, at the Allianz Stadium. Yesterday at the Training Center we saw Leonardo Bonucci again who attended the Bianconeri’s training. Today, however, Thiago Motta, at 1pm, will meet journalists in the eve press conference which will precede his first derby against Vanoli’s Granata.

Nico Gonzalez out for the match against Torino.
Nico Gonzalez will be out for Saturday’s match against Torino. The Argentine winger, despite his efforts to try to recover, will not be available to Thiago Motta in Saturday evening’s match. The Juventus number 11, however, will use the international break to try to recover as best he can from the low-grade injury to the rectus femoris of his right thigh and be available again for the match at San Siro against Milan. Nico, apart from the goal scored against PSV Eindhoven, has not had a simple start to the season and the injury suffered in the Champions League match against Leipzig complicated the situation even more. The Argentine is a fundamental piece for Thiago Motta who will want to be able to field him together with Yildiz, Koopmeiners, Conceicao and Vlahovic.

Ferrero and Scanavino outline Juventus’ future plans.
Yesterday, the annual meeting of Juventus shareholders took place which approved the budget until 30 June 2024 with losses of 199.2 million euros. CEO Maurizio Scanavino spoke about the issue of the main sponsor on the Bianconeri shirts: “We are in negotiations with various brands and companies with an interest in international visibility and we consider reaching an agreement by the end of this sports season. In the meantime, at this moment, we thought we would make our availability available to Save the Children. A few weeks ago we closed an agreement for the sleeve sponsor with Azimut”. President Ferrero, however, spoke about Juventus’ exit from the Super League: “We made two very precise press releases on the Super League, 6 June and 13 July 2023. The Super League project was born with a certain number of teams, then some withdraw and 3 remain, of which Juventus has notified the decision to withdraw from the Super League, but to date we have not received any response.”
