Milan, Manchester United’s Lindelof is in the sights: he is out of contract with the Red Devils

The future of Victor Lindelof at Manchester United it is still uncertain, and Milan are trying to take advantage of the central defender’s situation. The 30-year-old Swede is out of contract with the Red Devils at the end of this season, and at the moment it does not appear that the English club have any intention of offering him a new deal, despite having been with the team since the days of Jose Mourinho.

Lindelof made 266 appearances for Manchester United, scoring four goals and providing seven assists. While the defender has been a source of confidence for the club, recent signings of new centre-backs and rumors of a possible transfer of Jarrad Branthwaite from Everton indicate that 2025 could be the right year for his departure. Being on a free transfer, Lindelof will attract interest from many teams, and Milan are one of the main contenders.

As reported by Caught Offside Milan are strongly interested in Lindelof, appreciating his experience. The Rossoneri could approach the defender as early as January, when he will be free to negotiate with foreign teams. In addition to Lindelof, Milan are also looking with interest at Jakub Kiwior of Arsenal. While the deal for Lindelof would be a permanent transfer, the Rossoneri are reportedly considering the possibility of taking Kiwior on loan for the 2025/26 season, a formula that could attract Arsenal, given that the Polish defender is not a regular starter in Mikel Arteta’s team.

The interest in Kiwior does not stop at Milan: Napoli, Bologna, Juventus, Villarreal and Marseille are also among the clubs that are looking at the young Polish talent to take him away from London.
