Aïssa Mandidefender of Lille, commented to UEFA channels on the good draw achieved against Juventus: “I think it’s a fair result, both teams played better in the first half. We started the match well, we took the lead, then we We came under pressure without conceding too many clear chances. We were solid in defence, but they managed to convert the penalty 1-1, which was a fair result given the context of the match.
I think seven points is a good haul given that we have faced Sporting away, Real Madrid, Atletico and Juventus, but we can’t stop there. I think we have shown that we still have ambitions in this competition. We have four games left to qualify.”
