Luigi Apolloni, former Parmafocused on the present of the yellow-blue team during an interview conducted with The Gazzetta di Parma: “With Genoa I saw a team in difficulty, which certainly took a step back compared to previous matches. Even by collecting fewer points, they had not done badly in terms of play.”
Apolloni also focuses on the heavy loss that Mister Pecchia will have to deal with, given Bernabé’s injury which should keep the director away from the playing fields for at least a month: “The loss is heavy and I think that Monday evening penalized Parma. I hope it’s not serious, but there are players in the squad who can make up for it and guarantee at least quantity.” And again: “The question is in the head, the qualities are there, even at the individual level”.
He then concludes by answering a specific question: what recipe should we use to get out of this moment? Apolloni replies: “There aren’t any. As they say in military jargon, now it’s time for Parma to close ranks. More attention and application are needed, but results remain the best medicine.”
