Guest of TMW’s ‘Face to Face’ column, Giorgio Perinettidean of Italian sporting directors, analyzed the Serie B championship at the end of the 12th matchday:
“Inzaghi is a veteran of Serie B. We are used to his fast starts and the victory in Cremona marks a supremacy. Then there is Spezia with the Esposito brothers who have clearly matured and it is a team well assembled by D’Angelo. The swing of Cremonese is surprising as they have an important team and it disappoints Palermo who are strong but are unable to prevail at Barbera and this is alarming.”
On his future, Perinetti explains: “The phone rings. For now we’ll let it ring, it’s nice and I didn’t think it would happen so soon. But at the moment I want to reset, to start again calmly.”
